The scanner kinda mucked this up a bit. DX Book illustration for the soon-to-be-published fiction story "Rolphlestein: The Elizabeth Volpe Chronicles" by one *RinnySega - this was actually the second book illustration (sequentially) that I was supposed to do, but it's my favorite scene, so I skipped right to it. Expect to see more of these as well as the book's cover art from me.

Synopsis:
"When it comes to fear in dreams, there is a thin line between what we think is real, and what we think is fake...”
Rophlestein begins his morning the same way every day: a shower, breakfast, and a few tugs to his tie before he starts his daily work shift. He’s not your average paper-pusher; he doesn’t even own a desk. He doesn’t need one for creating nightmares.
But when your older brother is The Boogie Man, you have a lot to live up to. When Rophlestein decides to take over his brother’s night shift, he comes to find that he bit off more than he can chew. Accompanied by a young, kidnapped woman, he goes on a wild ride into the subconscious, learning for the first time in centuries what it really means to be afraid after dark.
