Description

Another WIP for :iconzercon:'s commission.
Sorry to be spamming with WIPs ><
All done on CS3 with tablet, still loads more nicknacks and details to add. @__@
Again, character © ~Zercon

EDIT: I know there are some perspective issues with this.
And the ground needs to be darker, as I want the brightest thing to be the overhead light.
But, critiques are more than welcome as this is still a work in progress and anything that could use correction should be pointed out here before I move on to finishing it.
Because then it'll be done and I'll have no intention of going back to rework it.

Well I don't know what you haven't gotten to yet so forgive me if I point out stuff you're just not done with yet. ^^;
Alright, first the thing that stands out the most is the perspective on the bookcase. Starting with the second shelf the shelves look like they are bending upwards (the vertical width of the shelves decreases, this is most visible on the second shelf). Also I think the top shelf may need to be titled more counterclockwise (so the side on the boarder is higher), I'm not sure about that you'd need to check it with your vanishing point it just looked that way from a guesstimate (could just be that the other shelves are throwing it off). More about the bookshelf, the part where the shelves connect with the sides is off. The top shelf has a much flatter slant, causing the corner to not line up with the others.
One more perspective thing, the pipe attached to the wall above the water heater looks crooked to me. It could be correct (as pipes can be on a wall every which way), but because all the other pipes are at right angles to each other it look off. If you wanted it crooked then maybe make it more pronounced so it looks on purpose.
The bottom stand that the water heater is on, the ellipse should be tilted a tad bit more towards the viewer. The top part of the stand is rounder, and the closer to the horizon line the flatter the shape should seem (I'm not sure if I explained that well enough to make sense OTL).
No comments on the character, your anatomy looks great (and he looks very intimidating, which I believe is the point).
Even thought the lamp is emitting the light I feel like it should have some subtle values.
Oh I lied, one more perspective thing. The bookcase feels to high on the ground level. Like the vanishing point is the the left and up so the book case should be lower on the horizon, but since it is skinnier than the water heater's base it ends up higher.. I don't know what to do about this soo.. um I guess just re-look at that area (and hopefully you get what I'm saying)?
Whew, alright I'm done. Sorry I nitpicked it but I could only find small details wrong, the composition and character are amazing! :D
It's really good progress so far, keep up the awesome work and good luck on the rest. ^-^
(Hopefully some of that makes sense, I'm not the best at explaining things with words ^^;)
